Iryna (born 1986) is the FOUNDER and PRESIDENT of Youth NGO Iskra since September 2008. She has a B.A. degree in German, English and Pedagogics and has spent time abroad as a FLEX finalist (Idaho, USA), DAAD scholar (Konstanz, Germany), EVS volunteer (Oberkorn, Luxembourg), ASF volunteer (Gdansk, Poland), intern (Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina) and has been active in the Youth in Action Programme since 2006. Аs a DAAD/OSI scholar, Iryna is currently enrolled in a Master's program in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Marburg (Germany). She works as a student assistant at the Center for Conflict Studies in Marburg, assists in coordinating the double degree program with the University of Kent and organises academic summer schools in Central Asia for her university. She is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, English, German, Polish, intermediate in French and Bosnian/Croatian and is studying Turkish.

Lilia Antoniuk is PROJECT MANAGER at Iskra since April 2012. She is currently studying Translation at Mykolaiv Black Sea State University. She is very active and can't live without new bright events. She has been involved in the university student government and was one of the organizers of the student Centre of Translation Art. Being a big fan of traveling and international communication, she participated in Youth in Action projects in Poland, Czech Republic, Georgia and Turkey. Lilia has organized a variety of local projects and promotes voluntary movement in her community. Last year she was an EVS volunteer in Youth Centre in Leipzig (Germany) – and brought to Ukraine a huge bag of experience and ideas. Lilia is an inspired girl, everything spontaneous and unexpected attracts her attention. All Lilia's activities are based on the wish to somehow change the world.

Dmytro (born 1984) is the COORDINATOR of PHOENIX PROJECT. In 2006 he graduated from the Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University with an M.A. in English and Literature. He then organized English leadership camps and student charity events. In 2007, he was a Fulbright scholar at Tufts University (USA) where he obtained an M.A. in Child Development (specialization in children with special needs). After coming back to Ukraine in 2009 he became an English teacher at the Antonivka boarding school where he also developed extracurricular educational projects for children. At the same time he taught English at Black Sea State University. At present he is a PhD student at the same university. His interests are educational camps/schools, leadership, arts and crafts, human rights, underprivileged children, orphans, children with special needs.

Irina Tomenko is part of Iskra's team since September 2011. She is a PROJECT COORDINATOR. She studied at Kharkiv Pedagogical University and has a Specialist Degree in English and Economics. Irina took part in a row of Youth in Action projects in Georgia, Spain and Azerbaijan; participated in international volunteering camps in Germany and Italy; acted as a campleader in two camps in Ukraine. In autumn 2011 Irina did her internship at NGO "Apteka" in Gdynia (Poland). From 2008 until 2012 she worked as a private teacher of English and French for children. Irina is currently doing her European Voluntary Service in Nantes (France). Irina believes that her future is connected with social work: she is fond of working with children and youth by implementing her own projects. In other people she appreciates their mind, sincerity, self-confidence and ability to find compromises.
